Basil Hayden's Whiskey

Basil Hayden's bourbon, introduced in 1992, pays tribute to distiller Basil Hayden Sr., known for using a high rye content in his mash. His grandson later founded a distillery and launched "Old Grand-Dad" bourbon, adorned with Basil Sr.'s image. Beam Industries included Basil Hayden's in their "small batch collection", and it shares a mash similar to Knob Creek and the original recipe from 1792. Though initially labeled "Aged 8 Years", it changed to "Artfully Aged" in 2014, dropping the age specification.
