Blue Run Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon presents a caramel richness that unfolds with layers of baking spices, perfectly framed by toasted oak. The flavor profile crescendos with a complex finish, featuring vibrant notes of stone fruit and a touch of black pepper, adding a lively spice to the final sip.
This small-batch bourbon is crafted under the expertise of Bourbon Hall of Famer Jim Rutledge, marking the first Blue Run product where he served as the contracted Master Distiller. Distilled at Castle & Key Distillery, this high rye bourbon exemplifies Jim's meticulous approach to whiskey-making, building on the legacy of Blue Run's commitment to producing exceptional spirits.
