This second iteration of our Rum Cask Finish Rye Whiskey showcases the innovation and creativity at the heart of our Sagamore Spirit Reserve Series. We began with 5- and 6-year-old straight rye whiskies, which were aged for an additional 10 months in hand-selected barrels sourced from South America and Jamaica.
The rum barrels from Jamaica impart notes of ripe banana and vibrant pineapple, while the South American rum barrels contribute rich vanilla and brûléed sugar flavors. This unique combination enhances the inherent spice of our rye, creating a complex and delightful finish.
