Fortaleza Blanco Still Strength is a premium tequila made by the distillery, Fortaleza. It's a type of Blanco (white) tequila, which means it is bottled immediately after distillation and has not been aged. The term "still strength" refers to the tequila being bottled straight from the still, without being diluted with water before bottling.
This results in a higher alcohol content compared to a standard Blanco tequila, and it is bottled at its full proof or the strength at which it comes off the still. The bottling at still strength is meant to showcase the true essence of the agave and its unique character.
It's not just about the alcohol content though, this tequila also offers a complex and nuanced flavor profile, with notes of fruit, baked agave, green olive, and earth, along with touches of butter, olive, black pepper, and vegetal qualities. It is said to be slightly brighter and a touch more rustic than the regular Blanco.
