Código 1530 Reposado blends the purity of their Blanco with the refined elegance of an extended aging process. Aged for six months in Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels, this tequila beautifully balances the rich agave-driven flavors of Los Bajos tequila with subtle, signature hints often found in fine whiskeys.
Production is carefully managed at Código 1530's private distillery in Amatitán, where the barrels are hand-charred on-site to ensure precision and depth. The family adheres to a traditional aging process, focusing on taste rather than a strict time frame, ensuring the tequila matures to perfection. Tasting notes include bright, sweet agave flavors, enhanced by the complexity of vanilla, toasted caramel, and subtle cocoa powder, making for a sophisticated and layered drinking experience.
