Jefferson’s Ocean Double Barrel Rye Whiskey is a distinctive rye whiskey aged in both new charred and toasted barrels before traveling the world aboard ships. The constant motion, changing temperatures, and sea air contribute to its unique character, while non-chill filtration preserves a fuller flavor profile.
The nose features toasted marshmallow, maple syrup, and subtle spice, while the palate brings notes of toffee, vanilla, and tobacco. Baking spices, cinnamon, and a touch of sea salt create a long, complex finish. Bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV), it offers a bold yet balanced expression of rye whiskey.
